I’m Alicia, an adult fantasy writer with a love of expansive worlds, unforgettable characters, and stories that explore what makes us human. The Golden One is my debut novel, and the first one of a planned trilogy.

When I'm not writing fantasy, I'm usually hiking, painting, or diving into other fantasy worlds while playing TTRPGs or video games.

I love diving into psychology and asking: “Why do we do the things we do? Why make the choices we make?”

I've spent years fascinated by those questions, especially how love, grief, anger, and disappointment shape the people we become.

While The Golden One has magic, monsters, and more, at its heart it's the story of one man's struggle with loss. Loss is something we all face eventually, a struggle many of us know in one form or another.

My hope is that you'll lose yourself in the world I've built, fall in love with its characters, and leave with questions—and maybe even answers—that stay with you long after you've turned the final page.
